- Amazon Conservation Team
The Amazon Conservation Team works hand-in-hand with indigenous and other local people to apply the power of innovation and time-tested traditional practices to protect the forests and watersheds of tropical America, the Amazon Rainforest.
As of 2020, they have been in existence for 24, helped indigenous reserve expansions and creation of 1.9 million acres of land, and partnered with 78 partner communities.

Britain & Ireland based, Global Outreach
Over 70 years ago, British and Irish church organisations set up what's now known as Christian Aid. Today, Christian Aid works globally for profound change that eradicates the causes of poverty, striving to achieve equality, dignity and justice for all, regardless of faith, race or nationality. We provide urgent, practical and effective assistance where need is greatest, tackling the effects of poverty, as well as its root causes.
Christian Aid was one of the first international NGOs to work with the communities in the Amazon region. The charity has worked with local partners and social movements there for more than four decades, campaigning for the land rights of vulnerable communities. Christian Aid has launched a petition urging the UK Government to prioritise the wellbeing of people who depend on the rainforest for their survival, and to ensure that any trade and investment talks with Brazil and Bolivia safeguard communities’ rights and ecosystems.

Mercy For Animals (MFA) is an international nonprofit animal protection organization founded in 1999 by Milo Runkle. MFA’s mission is to “prevent cruelty to farmed animals and promote compassionate food choices and policies.” MFA has conducted more than 65 investigations of factory farms and slaughterhouses, many of which have resulted in animal cruelty convictions, changes in corporate animal welfare policies, and primetime media coverage. The organization has guided many of the world’s largest food companies, including Nestlé, Perdue, and Walmart, in adopting animal welfare policies.
MFA also promotes vegan eating through social media, videos, writing, and online resources.

Despite this, the industry is facing a huge skills shortage, not just in the UK, but around the world. If (Change Please helped) the homeless community addressed this shortage - homelessness could become a thing of the past. Change Please is empowering the homeless community by training them to be baristas. We provide full barista training, jobs paying London Living Wage and support with housing, bank accounts and mental wellbeing.
